Health, Safety & Welfare are of paramount importance to Avery Carpentry Contractors, and it is the Company’s intention that its work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable measures taken to avoid risk to its employees or others who may be affected.
Adam Avery has responsibility for ensuring this in conjunction with our external Health & Safety consultants, providing Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments for each project and continuous employee training through regular Toolbox Talks on site.
The Company holds SMAS accreditations.
All employees hold current CSCS cards appropriate to their trade/experience, some have additional qualifications such as SSSTS, SMSTS, Slinger/Signaller, PASMA, IPAF and all have received UKATA Asbestos Awareness training.
The Company has an excellent Health and Safety record but actively aims for continuous improvement through reviews of its systems and processes as well as working closely with the CITB in identifying the training needs of its employees.
